Sometimes you’re just trying to do your job, and some people won’t let you. Sometimes you’re just trying to do what’s best for your family, and even then, people just have to get in your way!

I pay my taxes and work hard like everyone else, so when I try to do something for me, and also plan a fun holiday with the kids, it all just comes crashing down. The best laid plans, eh? And now windows are my biggest problem.

Now, don’t get me wrong…I have nothing against commercial glaziers, residential glaziers, and all the glass installers in between. In fact, I have a very level view of humanity and glaziers are on the same tier as everyone else. I’ve always sort of liked the idea of glass balustrading as well. As soon as I burn away some space and I really build a home that I can be proud of, perhaps some elegant balustrading will go nicely in my ornate entrance hall.

Gonna need to keep some glaziers around, if that’s the case…

But then this one person, my nemesis if you will, insists upon making things difficult for me by not only installing windows, but really good windows. I’m totally flummoxed by how good these windows are. In fact, once I actually find a way past this problem and all resistance is removed, I’m going to have to look into these windows and what makes them so very good.

I’ve tried to be diplomatic about this situation as well. I’ve sent very polite emails asking if we can meet and work the situation out. Maybe she can apologise for being such a wrench in my plans, I can explain how hurtful it was that she ruined my quality time with the kids, and she could in turn explain which residential glaziers helped outfit her home in such a way, and from which dimension they hail. I’ve Just got to think happy thoughts of a big mansion, with glass balustrading. Also, the people around me enjoying their fruitful lives. Ahh, that’s a nice thought…
